I adamantly believe agriculture can be a rewarding, and healthy full time career.  By writing about my work and sharing my progress, I hope to show how organic farms and farmers enrich and strengthen the communities they serve. ~April

A Decade of Hope

A Decade of Hope

Your farmers are recent graduates of Cornell University’s inaugural Climate Smart Farming Class. We now have in place an April Joy Farm Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation Plan that identifies protecting and improving soil health as our most critical task. Thanks to Clark Conservation District, we are also en route to building a state of the art composting facility to produce the highest quality fertility right here at home, wit fewer off-farm inputs required.
