Gus & Co. Supporters,
The farm has been renamed! While Gus & Co. has served me well, I felt it was time for a shift. The farm has certainly grown and changed in ways I could not have imagined when I began this journey. So what a blessing to get to reinvent one’s farm-self.
I feel more passionately than ever that our ability to sustain a healthy, vibrant, connected community is most directly tied to not just how we feed, but truly nourish ourselves and our neighbors. My hope is to protect and to nurture this farm. I want to do that in a way that exemplifies energy, seed, and food independence while providing our community with a stable source of authentic food. This is big stuff, no? I thought long and hard about how to capture that mission in a name. It struck me that the most daunting journeys usually take root in the season of hope (Spring) and will only be successful if undertaken with conviction and optimism (Joy). I am happy to announce you are all now part of the April Joy Farm community.
