Farm Outreach Manager
This is a part-time seasonal position with potential for growth in scope and responsibility.
The Farm Outreach Manager reports to the Farm Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Farm Outreach Manager is responsible for connecting April Joy Farm with its community through the CSA distribution and Farmers Market staffing, written communications and associated outreach efforts. This position is split as follows: 65% time spent at CSA distribution and Farmers Markets, 15% time spent on newsletter development and distribution, and 20% time spent on farm related education development, networking and outreach. The Farm Outreach Manager understands the importance of a holistic, systems approach and is flexible, passionate, highly motivated and efficient. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, inherently values and advocates for small, rural communities; is a whole-hearted, authentic proponent of organic, sustainable agriculture; and will actively and proudly promote small farms and April Joy Farm
